It's All About Mindset

Happy President's Day Weekend for those of us in the States and Happy Post Valentine's Day for everyone across the world that celebrates it. Even if you don't celebrate either holiday, it's always a great day to celebrate yourself! Why? Because it's super important to acknowledge your accomplishments as a human being. What have you done with your life in the last week? Last month? Last year? It's very easy for us entrepreneurs to get really stuck in the "un-accomplishments" or the goals we haven't met in Q1, but I would like to celebrate a win. My mentor Rachel Pedersen, does this in her group and she calls them Wins-days. Every Wednesday she tells everyone to post your wins for the week, no matter how big or small. It's so important to share wins you guys, especially on social media. You will be surprised at how many people will have similar wins!

Mindset is Key!

You might think "well that's just bragging and I hate seeing people do that on social media", that's totally okay. Don't share your wins! Newsflash: YOU CAN SHARE WHATEVER YOU WANT ON SOCIAL MEDIA! However, if you don't feel like you should share your wins cause you think you are bragging, there might be a confidence and/or mindset issue. As a society, we (especially women) are taught to act a certain way about things and it has hindered us to not make as much money as we would like. Therefore, we must break the rules we have embedded in ourselves to make sure we don't fall into that trap society has made us believe in how we should make money.

I am NOT a Mindset Coach!

I am not a mindset coach (no way in hell am I qualified for that), but I am just an entrepreneur tired of doing things the old fashioned way. I, for one, have always been someone who liked to bend the rules, and I don't necessarily believe in working hard, just smart. However, as I found out recently, it's because I was working super hard, that I didn't see my vision for my business clearly. It hindered everything I did, and it wasn't until I took a brief, two week break from my business to see my vision. I don't want to just help people, I want to make a difference in their business and I want them to thrive in ways they never dream of!

Break The Rules!

In order for me to do that, I feel like I need to break the rules. I can't keep working long hours, and seeing minimal results. I have to go outside the box, and be me. Who am I, you might ask? Well I am just a bad-ass entrepreneur from Atlanta who would like to highlight her mindset journey in this blog, while talking about other things (like social media). By talking about my journey into mindset, I'd hope I inspire one of you. How do you feel about breaking the rules? Do you still have things going on in your business that make it feel old fashioned? What about your life? What kind of rules do you have in your life that you still need to change?

Think Outside the Box

It's time to think outside the box, and I'll be honest I feel like I haven't been doing that at all with my business. Doing everything that everyone says will work hasn't been working for me because I feel like it hasn't been MY VOICE. It was somebody else's voice and that was what was selling, being my authentic self requires a lot of vulnerability that I am not sure I am entirely ready for. However, if you aren't being your true authentic self on any platform whether it's social media, email, or even a blog, then what am I (or you) really doing on the internet? We need to start eating chocolate at 4:00 am on a Sunday, go to the movies at 10:00 pm, and we need to start going after what we really want as entrepreneurs.

Why?

Cause if you don't you will regret not doing these things a lot earlier. I've already started regretting things, and I don't want to have anymore regrets. Are you ready to take your business to the next level? Schedule your call with me today to break the rules!
